Hackers threaten YouTube over video takedown

Hackers operating under the banner of “Anonymous” have threatened YouTube with an attack if the video sharing site does not restore access to a closed down account.

The hackers appear annoyed at the blocking of an account belonging to a user calling themselves 'Theanonmessage' and while YouTube has taken down Anonymous videos before, it has never raised this much of ire.

"Your block to TheAnonMessage's account has directly violated first amendment rights of the constitution of the United States. This violation stands against everything our collective believes in. By speaking out against the viral Kony twenty twelve video, Youtube has decided to block a voice of truth," says a video statement posted ironically to Youtube.
