For the third year in a row Sogeti organizes the social engineering challenge during Hack In The Box Amsterdam.
In 2012 and 2013 they asked contestants to show weaknesses in the top 100 Dutch organizations. This year, the challenge has a twist!
Hack in the Box 2013 Amsterdam (HITB2013AMS) will host all sorts of interesting talks and competitions. One of these competitions is the Sogeti Social Engineering Challenge 2013.
Sogeti aims at raising awareness among organizations on the importance of effective security policies that can help them avoid reputation-damaging incidents and privacy issues.
Global IT services provider Sogeti, will launch the Sogeti Social Engineering Challenge 2013 (#SSEC2013) during the 4th annual HITB security conference, #HITB2013AMS in April.
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 14 May 2012 – Sogeti Nederland B.V. has just announced the first ever Social Engineering and CTF Challenge (#SSEC2012) in Europe. Hosted at the third annual HITB Security Conference on 24th - 25th May at Okura Hotel in Amsterdam, the challenge will see participants putting their social engineering skills to the test in a series of fact-finding phone approaches aimed at Dutch companies.
