Anyone hoping to buy PDAs with the new generation of Intel processors is likely to be disappointed as there's no software out there capable of using their whizzy new features.Intel announced the first of its new line of processors for handheld computers in February. Based on Xscale, Intel's ARM-based architecture, the PXA250 promised both higher speeds and greater power than the current generation of StrongARM-based processors.

WHILE CPUS are obviously its bread-and-extra-creamy butter, Intel has come back into the chipset arena with a vengeance.
The newly updated Pentium 4 chipset offerings, the i850E, i845E and i845G, boast not just faster 533 MHz FSBs for the new Pentium 4 CPUs, but also improved memory support (a lot of it "non-validated" yet, though) and new I/O based on the ICH4 south bridge -- again "non-validated" for i850E, but guess what, most i850E mainboards will have ICH4.

The Telnet protocol has been implemented on a variety of systems. Each
is different, so specific commands depend on your version. However, all
versions function similarly, so there are a few general guidelines to
follow.

The one common element across the disparate environments of the Internet
is the TCP/IP software protocol suite, the basis of communications.

The coming of Age

The growing acceptance of governments and corporates in recognizing open source solutions as a viable alternative to their computing and internet infrastructures is very encouraging. More governments are making it a policy to consider open source, at least on par with closed source software. Although some of them are still blinkered into thinking that all open source is Linux and do not even know of the existence of FreeBSD, this is still something to be shouted about.
