Something strange is happening in the Sims 2 multiverse.

Players of Electronic Arts' enormously popular simulated life game are complaining that their artfully-crafted homes and mansions are beginning to resemble the Twilight Zone, thanks to an artifact of the game's design that causes hacks to spread like viruses from user to unwitting user.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is a pretty good game. It could have been great if publisher LucasArts had let the title cook for another six months instead of rushing it out for Christmas.

Review: 'Halo 2' bests original

"Halo 2," which went on sale in November, shattered video game sales records, but does it live up to the hype? Yes. And in spades.

The original "Halo: Combat Evolved" is a single-player game that pits a human, Master Chief, against an onslaught of menacing aliens. By navigating through huge locations, the player discovers what weapons work best in a given situation and how best to dispose of the sly extraterrestrials.

About 20,000 people have been banned from playing the Half-Life 2 game.

Game maker Valve shut down the online accounts of the players because it had evidence that their copy of the game had been obtained illegally.

Copies of Half-Life 2 had been circulating on file-sharing systems soon after it was officially released.

l33tdawg: I don't know about you, but I think it's rather tasteless to have a video game based upon someones 'real life' assassination.

A new video game to be released on Monday allows players to simulate the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy.

The release of "JFK Reloaded" is timed to coincide with the 41st anniversary of Kennedy's murder in Dallas and was designed to demonstrate that a lone gunman was able to kill the president.

Free Xbox games for Xbox Live referrals

Microsoft look as if they've started their pre-Christmas push early by offering a promotion that enables existing Xbox Live members to bag a free game by recommending a friend to sign up to Xbox Live.

After Sony's successful launch of the slimline PS2, this seems like an excellent way for Microsoft to convince prospective buyers that the Xbox is the machine to get. Any current Xbox Live subscriber located in Europe has until January 2005 to introduce a friend to Live and they will receive a game of their choice from a selection.

l33tdawg: This game can only be described with one word - WICKED!

I honestly have no idea where this review is going to go, because I could talk about why I like San Andreas all day and not know when to shut the fuck up. I mean… shit. I’ll probably need years of therapy to stop me talking like a gangster now. Anyway, if you don’t know the back-story to San Andreas: Welcome to Earth and please check out our preview.
