Comex Answers Questions About iPhone Hacking Before Heading Off To Apple

If you pay even a small bit of attention to the iPhone jailbreaking scene, you’ve probably heard by now: one of its golden boys is heading for greener pastures. Nicholas Allegra — perhaps known better as comex (the brain behind the one-click, web-based jailbreaking tool, JailbreakMe) — is hangin’ up his hacker hat and heading for Cupertino, having been offered an internship at Apple.

iPhone prototype N94 leaked, possibly to be an iPhone 4S

There are lots of crazy rumors flying around about the new iPhone announcement coming later on this year (or as soon as next month), but this is one of the more credible. The picture above comes from a site called UbreakIfix through our friends at Engadget, and purports to show a prototype for the iPhone called the N94.

Rumor: iPhone 5 to Sport Metal Chassis Like iPod Touch

A report from DigiTimes today dismisses rumors that Apple’s iPhone 5 will look identical to the iPhone 4, claiming it will instead have an iPod touch-like rear metal chassis with a 3.5 to 3.7-inch display.

That also quashes those rumors that claim the fifth-generation iPhone will have a large 4-inch display, with sources claiming the iPhone 5 will have ” a design to allow the bezel of the panel to become thinner and make the screen look larger.”

Apple looking at having LTE in many devices including iPad 3

Most of the speculation surrounding Apple at the moment is when the iPhone 5 will be released or the next iPad. But there has also been reports surfacing about the company working on having LTE after images emerged of equipment that had been installed in stores. This is continuing with claims that Apple are looking to have LTE in many devices including the iPad 3.
