Mozilla 0.8

Just thought I'd make a small posting about Mozilla 0.8 -- I tried Mozilla out some time back, and found it to be rather slow and EXTREMELY unstable, but they've fixed a fair number of things, and it just rocks right now.

It's certainly a lot better than Netscape 4.72 which tends to just look really ugly but works in other ways. The way Mozilla 0.8 handles pull down menus is certainly a nice welcome, considering Netscape 4.72 would end up generating the menu like a hierachial layout even when its not. With the latest release of Mozilla, menu handling is pretty similar to IE. The one thing that I wish they would come up with is the option to just press enter to submit forms directly (the way IE does it). All in due time I suppose. The support for mouse wheels within Linux works without any problems -- no extra configuration needed if you've already managed to get it to work with other windows within the X Server. Check out mozilla.org
