A look into Wiretapping

Wiretapping
is the traditional term for interception of telephone conver-
sations. This should not be taken too literally. The word is no
longer restricted to communications traveling by wire, and
contemporary wire- taps are more commonly placed on radio links or
inside telephone offices. The meaning has also broadened in that
the thing being tapped need no longer be a telephone call in the

Taxonomy of Communcations Intelligence

Cryptography
is otten considered, particularly by those primarily con-cerned
with security, to be the only serious barrier to communications
intelligence. Histories of the field have generally fostered this
impression by painting a picture of war between codemakers and
codebreakers. In practice, spying on communications is a
multi-stage activity in which each

The Future of Viruses

It was a fun week of "Love and Bugs" and in some ways our company is still
full of it. Anyway, it could have been a lot worse. I work for very large
(Anonymous) corporations where their address books are on a global scale
of 20,000+. When I was getting calls very early in the morning about the
worm I was surprised just like everyone else. That day started around
3AM, thank you. I belong to many newsgroups about security and viruses

Comparison of Red-Hat 6.0, Debian 2.1, Slackware 7, Caldera 2.3, Turbolinux
6.0 Server/Workstation, and DLX.

This article was not meant to, and will not provide a conclusion as to
which distribution is the "best". It is only meant to help you decide,
or perhaps inspire you to try a distribution that you haven't before.
Also, my spelling really sucks. I know the words, I just cant spell the
damn things. Here ya go:
