TaiG, the Chinese jailbreaking team that has been thanked in Apple patch notes for exposing iOS vulnerabilities, has just released a new jailbreak tool for Mac that will allow you to run unsigned code on any iOS 8.4 device. Hurrah!
The process of jailbreaking is so simple, anyone can do it.
Much to the joy of the jailbreak community, the Dream Team - comprising p0sixninja, Pod2g, MuscleNerd and a number of other prominent iOS hackers - have been responsible for the last two major jailbreak releases.
At this year's Hack in The Box (HITB) conference in Amsterdam, the team discussed several topics of interest, including Absinthe and Corona. The video below depicts the discussion for the first part where the team of hackers talk about Corona.
It's like something big's going to happen at HITB related to jailbreaking : look at this.
L33tdawg: I'm excitedly awaiting the Dream Team at #HITB2012AMS - It's going to be epic! :)
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 2 April 2012 – The group of hackers responsible for pulling off the widely-considered-impossible jailbreak of Apple’s popular iPhone 4S and iPad 2 devices will be showcasing their research at Europe’s annual HITB Security Conference.
L33tdawg: "for the first time in history, and for this conference only... " What more can I say but have you registered? ;)
Jailbreakers use Cydia to install tweaks and apps that aren’t available in Apple’s App Store. Cydia has been the way to find and install jailbreak apps for years, but it looks like the established storefront could be getting some competition soon.
iTweakStore.com promises to be a “fast, powerful, and very easy to use” web-based alternative to Cydia for jailbreakers. Will it hold a candle or simply fall by the wayside?
