Google Inc. released the Android 5.1 update Monday, a new version of its Android Lollipop operating system that fixes a number of problems with earlier releases and includes a few new tricks. Google is rolling out the update now for the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 smartphones, as well as the Nexus 7 tablet.

The internet giant just launched a new Chinese-language YouTube channel to educate Chinese programmers on the ins and outs of various Google technologies, such as its Android mobile operating system and Compute Engine cloud computing service. Google Glass Is Being Trialled At Schiphol Airport

One of Europe’s busiest airports, Amsterdam’s Schiphol hub in the Netherlands, is trialling Google Glass for use by airport authority officers as a hands-free way to look up gate and airplane information.

It’s also testing Google’s face computer on travelers passing through the terminal in a bid to better understand the ‘customer journey’, thanks to Glass’ first person perspective.
