It’s often hard to tell just how seriously to take reports of a new vulnerability. The jargon is inscrutable, and the skills needed to pull off the attacks are possessed only by highly skilled professionals. But a bug afflicting Apple’s FaceTime chat has no such ambiguity. How bad is it? Rather than risk exposing people to it, Apple pulled the plug on FaceTime group chats altogether.

The 2019 iPhone will have a trio of camera lenses in an unusual configuration, if an unconfirmed report is correct.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors that Apple’s next model will have three rear-facing camera lenses, but the way they’ll supposedly be arranged on the device is new.

Rather than being lined up, they’ll allegedly be in a triangle, according to OnLeaks. These lenses will appear in a relatively large camera bump on the back of the device. The LED flash and a microphone will also be in this raised area.

Patrick Wardle, about whose discoveries we've written many times on Tom's Guide, last month analyzed a new strain of Mac malware called Windshift. He noticed that Apple had revoked the digital certificate that let the malware install on Macs. That's good.
