John Sculley, the former PepsiCo president who served as CEO of Apple during most of the 1980s and early 1990s, says that while Apple is "an extraordinary company," it has not done enough to adapt its products to suit emerging markets.

In a video interview with Bloomberg on Monday, Scully – who is perhaps best known for a 1985 coup in which he ousted Apple cofounder Steve Jobs – warned that Cupertino's growth in developed markets such as the US and Europe is bound to slow, as those markets are already growing saturated.

All high-tech companies profess their belief in noble ideals like worker advancement, teamwork, and 'transparency' - but on the ground, there can be major differences in culture. No one likes typing on a touch screen. So what if your iPhone case had a very mini QWERTY keyboard?

That's just what Spike from SoloMatrix is designed to be. When we heard about it last year, the Spike TypeSmart keyboard was part of a Kickstarter campaign that proved successful.

The tactile keyboard swivels out from its case and its keys make contact with the iPhone's on-screen keyboard. It doesn't require separate charging, docking, or an app, and it works with capacitive conductivity through the screens on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5.

Richard Stallman stands by his criticism of Steve Jobs in the wake of the Apple founder's death, the free-software advocate said in a recent interview with Slashdot readers. He also called for the elimination of harmful computing-related patents and advocated for preserving copyrights for works of opinion and art.

The FSF (Free Software Foundation) founder stirred up angry buzz in October 2011 with a post following Jobs' death:
