Evidence servers of the Italian National Anti-Cybercrime Center for the Protection of Critical Infrastructure (CNAIPIC) have been breached and some its contents published by a group of hackers calling themselves "Legion of Anonymous Doom", who apparently got on board the AntiSec campaign.

The group has made clear that its sitting on around eight GB of stolen data and that it plans to release it all.

The AntiSec campaign rumbles on with a new group going under the moniker of the Script Kiddies joining in.

Pfizer, the biggest research-based pharmaceutical company in the world, had its Facebook page hacked this week. The firm was not forthcoming on how the hack took place but a group known as the Script Kiddies has taken credit for the hit.

Following the arrest of 16 individuals in the U.S. and five in the U.K. and the Netherlands who are allegedly connected to the various cyber attacks organized by Anonymous, the hacktivist group continues its mission unabated.

According to the claims the group made on their Twitter account, they have managed to hack the servers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and exfiltrate around one GB of its restricted and confidential documents.

Well, seems like LulzSec has returned, and moved beyond the DDOS attack! Not content to merely shut down one of Rupert Murdoch's paper's websites, the hacking group has instead planted a bizarro-Onionesque account of the mogul's death-by-palladium on a Times redesign page masquerading as The Sun. Well played, #AntiSec.

PayPal’s chief security officer has called on the industry to reveal the identities of hackers involved in the online Anti Security (AntiSec) movement in order to stop a string of attacks against organisations.

The movement was run by activists, some within the online Anonymous collective, who had banded together with others to attack organisations it accused of corruption and censorship.

Shortly after the hackers with the AntiSec online activist campaign announced the release of about 90,000 military e-mail addresses and other data purloined from Booz Allen Hamilton, AntiSec followers on Twitter were anticipating a second data dump.

The latest attack in the infamous "#antisec" movement targeted Booz Allen Hamilton, a consulting firm who works with the US government. Anonymous claims to have infiltrated an unprotected server and were able to steal a significant amount of data.

They claim to have released email addresses belonging to more than 90,000 US military personnel. While many folks downplay the significance of the attack and say "It's only email addresses", these particular email addresses may have more value than it would appear.

On Friday, AnonymousIRC tweeted it was Happy Hacker Independence Day and dumped information from IRC Federal, a contractor for the FBI and other government agencies, to celebrate their holiday with a F**k FBI Friday.

The Turkish Government is the latest vicitim of project AntiSec with an unknown group of attackers defacing 74 .gov.tr domains and uploading a torrent dump on The Pirate Bay. The group has decided that today will be Turkish Takedown Thursday. From the Torrent release notes: 

Our vessel recently encountered a Turkish Government frigate, a chance we  could not not let pass. So we simply boarded their vessel (no need to fire any cannons, mind you, they never found out what happened until just now). and collected some booty.

It was early May when LulzSec's profile skyrocketed after a hack on the giant Sony corporation. LulzSec's name comes from Lulz, a corruption of LOL, often denoting laughter at the victim of a prank.
