Nvidia's latest security update resolves a variety of security issues for Windows, Linux, and Nvidia's Virtual GPU software.

It can be downloaded and applied now, according to TechRadar, Left unresolved, these issues could allow bad actors to pull off denial of service attacks, allow data tampering, or even make software unusable thanks to escalated privileges. All of these exploits do require user access to exploit, but these fixes will prevent that. Nvidia compiled a full list of potential issues in its latest security bulletin.

The patch, which can be downloaded via Nvidia's official drivers page, resolves six different display driver vulnerabilities as well as 10 plaguing vGPU software. All issues with display drivers and software have been patched, except for three, which will continue to plague Linux GPU Display Driver for Tesla GPU users. There's an updated driver pending for the end of January.
