Samsung Leak Reveals First Galaxy S9 Bad News

Samsung has big plans for 2018. Aside from the remarkable folding Galaxy X, the biggest excitement has been for plans a radical new Galaxy S9. But following several positive reports, a new leak has delivered the first bad news...

It comes from (the usually reliable) ETNews, which has a two disappointing tales to tell. The first is news that the Galaxy S9 will not have a fingerprint reader integrated into the display after Samsung again failed to get the technology ready for mass production in time for the smartphone’s release. Instead the fingerprint reader will be mounted on rear of the phone, hopefully in a more sensible central position.
