Wireless World - Closer than you think
I am writting this small piece from my iBook laptop, connected wirelessly, at Denver International Airport. I sat down turned on my computer, and to my surprise hopped onto a wireless network. I opened my browser was greeted by a service agreement, asked for a first and last name, and email address. Then set free! I have not found one port, service, or internet feature blocked, and am amazed at the speed! I have been pulling a steady 110k/sec from several popular sites, and my speed was rated as fantastic by speedtest.com >>> Anyone who wants FREE highspeed service, with little or no security, should head right over to their local international airport...
L33tdawg: Actually has anyone tested out the wireless network at KLIA (that's Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The main airport for Malaysia -- just for the benefit of everyone reading this)? I know they've got a wireless cloud over the airport and the hotel areas, but I've yet to test it out myself.
