Windows XP does not melt Macs

SINCE IT has been proven possible to boot Windows XP onto the Holy MacInteltosh, there have been rumours circulating among the Apple religious community that such an unholy act will cause the computing icon to catch fire.

According to the rumour, the presence of Microsoft software on board an Apple machine will cause the beautiful machines to consume itself in righteous anger and go incandescent.

The idea was first printed in MacRumors and was based on the idea that the current XP install doesn’t have a fan driver. This means that the MacInteltosh’s fan does not switch on and the whole lot overheats.

After the original rumours were published it seems the good people in the Mac community did not believe a word of it. They have found out that the whole thing was just FUD.
