Webscreen Technology will start launching the WS100 with CHARM technology on January 25. The WS100 is a hardware device that protects web sites from distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
The Ascot, Berkshire-based U.K. firm says that the device not only stops sites from collapsing under a DDoS attack, but even allows them to continue to operate normally. This is because the software records user behavior during normal operation and takes appropriate action when an attack occurs.
