Test your security awareness

A digital security company is launching a cross-sector index of security awareness among staff, to encourage firms to shore up their electronic defences. PentaSafe Security Technologies has launched an online survey to measure the level of awareness of information security policies and initiatives within organisations.
The Information Security Awareness Index survey comes in two parts; the first is delivered to the information security officer, who is then given the option to forward a second survey to up to 30 employees. Each participating company will receive immediate feedback on their responses based on best practices in information security policies and awareness. Two months later, each participant will be sent an index score, which will allow them to compare their security awareness level with an average cross-sector score, or to the scores of organisations of a similar size and in a similar industry. PentaSafe said all survey participants would remain anonymous.
