T-Mobile outs retail value of Samsung Galaxy S6

T-Mobile is running a contest in the U.S. through which customers can get their hands on the upcoming Galaxy S6 for free. And as is the case for all such giveaways in the country, the carrier has listed the retail value of the handset, which is at $699. As there is no mention of a storage variant, it is possible the model listed is the 32GB variant.

That's $100 more than the $599 retail price put forth by HTC in its own giveaway of the One M9. The higher price is warranted as the Galaxy S6 boasts a QHD display, whereas the One M9 comes with a full-HD screen. There's also Samsung's brand recognition to consider, and even though the South Korean vendor is facing a sales decline of late, it sells more devices than the next four Android handset manufacturers put together.
