Since the launch of the Xbox, Halo has remained the only genuine reason to own an Xbox. Nine months on, and the Xbox needs another killer app to satisfy the Christmas season. It seems Ubi Soft’s Splinter Cell is the only viable candidate, for the majority without Xbox Live. Fortunately the realism and style lavished on this Tom Clancy franchise may just pay off.
