Passengers flying on Singapore Airlines between Sydney and Singapore will now be able to get an online connection at 35,000 feet.

The speed and access will be supplied via broadband connection on the ground, through Connexion by Boeing.

Singapore Airlines passengers can sign into Connexion by Boeing via a wireless-enabled laptop. Passengers will be able to provide global television programming, enabling passengers to tune into four channels including BBC World, CNBC, EuroNews and Eurosport News. “The in-flight broadband service and live global television opens up a world of entertainment and lifestyle choices to our customers, be it staying in touch with loved ones and colleagues or watching the latest news as it happens,” said Singapore Airlines Senior Vice-President, Product and Services Yap Kim Wah in a statement.
