Security Expert Warns of ‘P2P-Worm.Agent.ti’

Aurelija, an independent security professional, while making a post states that a PC virus namely 'P2P-Worm.Agent.ti' detected by Kaspersky is a severe danger to any computer's security, as reported by PC1news on September 7, 2009.

Explaining about the virus, Aurelija writes on the blog that 'P2P-Worm.Agent.ti' is capable of exposing an end-user's PC to other remote-sourced assaults over the Net. The worm could proliferate via backdoors or security flaws created by Trojans. All of these therefore imply that an end-user's computer would go under unauthorized control, with the user losing his information and money. As 'P2P-Worm.Agent.ti' allowing illegal access to an infected computer, the worm offers great help to cyber criminals like hackers.

According to Aurelija, as soon as the malware installs itself on a system, it leads to the remote loading of files on the infected PC. Moreover, the worm 'P2P-Worm.Agent.ti' has a close connection with svchost.exe files.
