Screw TMNet and their fscking streamyx service!

&ltstart rant&gt

I know it's Sunday, but I've gotta rant... Over the past week (since Monday if memory serves me correctly), I've been having numerous problems with my DSL connection (which incidentally is the same connection that our servers sit on). Basically the problem is super-strange to say the least. Each and everyday, without fail, the line will drop between 7 and 8 pm (MYT) and come back up again fully at 2am. In between that time, the line might come up for 5 minute bursts, and then die out again. At all other times, the line is blisteringly fast and works without a hitch.

I've called their 'help desk' no less than 5 or 6 times already, and on Friday last week, they actually sent some tech guys over to replace my modem (which they felt was faulty and most likely was), but the problem still persists. Numerous calls to the helpdesk every evening is met with the same response: "We don't have a problem with our system -- but we'll check on it and call you back when it's fixed". I leave my contact details time and time again, while the help desk morons promise to forward my request to the technical division, and that someone will return my call within the next couple of hours. I've yet to receive a SINGLE phone call from them clarifying the issue or even apologizing for their shoddy service! Why bother saying you'll call back when you have no intention of doing so? What I want to know is WHY is it I'm paying just over 1K per month for service that lasts for little more than half a day?! TMNet seriously needs to pull up their socks and stop fucking their customers around. Perhaps if they hired REAL tech people and not a bunch of caffiene addicted morons who 'seem to know' what they're doing, I wouldn't be in this position.

&lt/end rant&gt
