Red Condor, the award-winning provider of true hybrid email security solutions, recently released BotHunter, an advanced layer of email security that monitors bot activity in real-time across the Internet. BotHunter is included as part of Red Condor's email security solutions, which include its family of Message Assurance Gateway (MAG) network appliances and Hosted Service. All Red Condor's products come with full functionality and premium fully managed support.

Red Condor's BotHunter system pulls targeted data, searching for potential bot activity across the Web. BotHunter runs an extensive series of tests on each suspected IP address, also double checking against BeigeList, a list of known good senders to minimize False Positives. If the IP address passes all tests, it is added to Red Condor's own Real Time Bot List ("BotHunter RBL"). BotHunter has proven successful against the Conficker or Conflicker botnet, which has attacked more than 10 million computers around the world, as well as against the resurging threat of image spam most of which is generated by bots. Red Condor charts the number of bots detected by BotHunter in its online Threat Center located at RedCondor.com.
