Online Retailers Don't Provide Adequate Security
A study entitled "Top of the E-Class: Ranking and Best Practices of over 170 Web Sites" found that on-line retailers fail to provide shoppers with adequate security and privacy protection. The report, commissioned for Ryerson Polytechnic University's Center for the Study of Commercial Activity , found a full third of retailers did not even meet minimum security standards
