NDP says hackers caused voting delays
Online voting at the NDP leadership convention has suffered delay by hackers with party officials saying they've found evidence of denial of service attacks against it's online voting system servers.
Officials said that hackers did not get access to the servers themselves, so voting data was not compromised. The NDP's Communications Manager has said the party managed to trace the source of the attacks to 2 possible IP addresses. Delays to the voting threatened to become a full-scale public relations disaster for the party and even had some people questioning the integrity of the end result.
