Mac OS X 10.5.7 here "this week"?

We're reminded of the boy who cried wolf, but there's a report that Mac OS X 10.5.7 will be released this week. Mac OS X 10.5.7 has been through several developer releases in quick succession, leading to repeated speculation that its release is imminent.

AppleInsider is now reporting that 10.5.7 is complete and "should be made available for download by the general public sometime this week." Mind you, AppleInsider said something similar two weeks ago.

Anyone on a broadband plan with a monthly download cap and a pessimistic outlook probably will be expecting that release to happen on Friday. That way, they won't be able to use the leftovers of their April quota for the download - instead it will eat into May's downloads. Stuff happens, right?
