Mac App Store to open doors today
Mac fans hoping to see Apple opening the doors of its App Store for Mac this morning are in for a disappointment as the Cupertino company seems content to keep us all waiting.
A Google search for Mac App Store turns up an ad which insists that the software distribution portal is open for business offering "more than a thousand Apps for your Mac" but following the link leads to the same "coming soon" teaser which has been up for weeks now.
Secretive to a fault as ever, Apple has told no-one what time things will kick off and the closest we can find to a viable time is in a report from The Loop which says its sources have suggested a 9am California time launch which would translate to a 5pm launch on this side of the pond (if we've got our clocks set right).
