Mischief makers LulzSec say they have downed the website of the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca).

The site www.soca.gov.uk disappeared completely from the web this afternoon and is now timing out regularly although is occasionally accessible. The site appears to be the victim of a DDoS attack.

Lulz Security claimed to have taken the site down as part of its recenly announced 'Operation Anti-Security'. The aim of the operation is to take down as many governmental sites as possible, maximising chaos and indeed 'lulz'. LulzSec urged hackers to "steal and leak any classified government information, including email spools and documentation."
