iPhone Nano Rumors Persist; Now Expected this Summer
Even though MacWorld Expo has come and gone without the anticipated announcement of the iPhone Nano, rumors still persist that Apple intends to release a smaller, less expensive version of its flagship smartphone.
The latest of these comes from the generally reliable Economic Daily News, who reports that this entertainment-oriented smartphone will debut in June "at the earliest". According to the various unconfirmed reports, the iPhone Nano will be about the same height as the recently-released iPod Nano, but wider and thicker.
It will supposedly have much in common with the current version, but lack 3G wireless networking. It isn't expected to replace the iPhone 3G, but be a less-expensive, less-fully-featured alternative.
