iOS 4.2.1 untethered Jailbreak is imminent
Rumbles are starting to gather strength in the Apple iDevice jailbreaking community, pointing towards the imminent release of the latest untethered hack for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
Untethered jailbreaks are the Holy Grail of the various groups which work tirelessly to make sure Apple isn't able to dictate what you are allowed to install on the device you have paid (very) good money for, as they allow users to footle with their phones without using a hard connection to a computer.
The last trustworthy untethered exploit was the jalbreakme.com iteration which simply required users to visit a web site and click a couple virtual buttons to open up the majority of Apple's portable gadgets to some unauthorised jiggery-pokery.
