Comprehensive DDoS protection; and centralised attack analysis by the Imperva SOC

Imperva, a data security offerings provider for high-value business data in the data centre, has launched its secure cloud-based service - Imperva Cloud DDoS Protection - that the company says safeguards businesses from debilitating and protracted Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.

Imperva said organisations have to subscribe to this service to protect against the downtime and brand damage, and potential lost revenue caused by DDoS attacks. Imperva CTO Amichai Shulman said hackers frequently tune DDOS attacks, and the new cloud-based service will help enterprises better block one of the main weapons in a hacker's arsenal.
