#HITB2017AMS Talks Have Been Announced and They Look Awesome!
The agenda for talks at this year's HITB Security Conference in Amsterdam have been announced! Taking place on the 13th and 14th of April, the conference is packed as always with a wide range of talks covering everything from attacks against medical devices to hands-on sessions on using machine learning for security applications to malicious document analysis and attacking Bluetooth locks!
In addition to the main conference, there will also be 30 minute talks in our free-to-attend CommSec track. This year we have also partnered with I am the Cavalry to focus 50% of the HITB CommSec track topics on issues that are becoming more and more relevant every day – the security of cars, airplanes, medical devices, critical infrastructure and home automation devices. If your talk covers one of the topics above (whether offensive or defensive focused), you will have a higher chance of getting your submission accepted. Interested? Check here for further details.
Here are some of the talks I'm most excited to see:
Can’t Touch This: Cloning Any Android HCE Contactless Card
Breaking the Fourth Wall: Hacking Customer Information Control System
Trending a Micro Line: How We Found Over 100 RCE Vulnerabilities in Trend Micro Software
Chasing Cars: Keyless Entry System Attacks
Practical Machine Learning in InfoSecurity
Hunting For Vulnerabilities in Signal
We've also added on a 'speiclal training' this year - a 3-day guided course on breaking ICS / SCADA systems using real-world equipment! This is a specialized session for security professionals looking to get trained in how to break real SCADA implementations and features a tailor made miniature SCADA installation for you to attack! Check out their promo video - looks pretty cool.
