HITB now available on your desktop (thanks to Serence Inc.)

I got an e-mail yesterday from Allan Willie, CEO of Serence Inc. a company founded to address the growing need for content service providers to offer real-time value added information services. Basically, they've got an information channel software which enables subscribing users to reduce
time spent gathering information and provides a persistent
and scalable way to deliver timely information directly to a users desktop.

Eitherways, Serence has been kind enough to hook us up with a HITB channel, so you now have the option of having HITB's headlines as well as headlines from various other sites delivered straight to your desktop (yes, it's the same thing as the push-technology of yesterday) -- Well, if you guys are still interested, here's how you get the hook up. Firstly, you need to register over at http://www.klipfarm.com, where you'll then have access to the KlipFolio software. After the install, you'll then need to download the HITB Klip File. That's it! You're done, HITB's latest headlines will be pulled straight from our server onto your desktop. Give it a try -- it's pretty sweet. I'm not sure how many of you have heard of Serence Inc. before today, but I know I certainly didn't know about them. It was also quite surprising to find that we've already had our channel downloaded 95 times since they made it available not too long ago.
