MP3newswire.net is running a 2-part interview with the leads of three of the leading Gnutella services to get their thoughts on Gnutella2. There has been considerable controversy surrounding both the application and its proprietary protocol with many in the Gnutella community crying foul. In the first interview BearShare President Vincent Falco goes into an extended discourse on how and why MP violates the spirit of the Gnutella network. In the second interview both Greg Blidson of LimeWire and Arno Steenbekkers from XoloX weigh in equally vocal. Blidson refuses to acknowledge MP as a form of Gnutella at all. Steenbekkers calls MP's actions selfish.
