Gateway finds bug in Thunderbird systems

Saw this one over at Arstechnica
"While technical details are sparse, News.Com is reporting that Gateway has found a glitch in "some" 1GHz
TB Athlon-based systems. It isn't clear if the CPU or some other component is implicated, but when you
reflect on the mobo compatibility claims issued against the KX133 and whatnot, it looks like AMD may have
spoken too soon. Gateway did say that not all systems seem to be affected, so AMD is in the clear on that
account. But when there's trouble in the Athlon forest, we all know what component to look at first. *sigh*
Will there ever be a BX-strength motherboard again?"
