Eset launches security tool for mobile workers

Security vendor Eset has unveiled new software designed to protect the growing number of smartphones and pocket PCs used by mobile workers.

Eset Mobile Security Business Edition has been released in beta for public testing, and protects devices running Windows Mobile and Symbian operating systems.

The software features remote administration support which allows administrators to remotely scan, audit and adjust firewall settings and spam filter logs, as well as send a message via a console or update the virus database, according to the firm. Also included is anti-theft, remote wiping, firewall, anti-spam and password protection.
