Cross Platform Virus Discovered

Saw this over at SNN

Central Command announced discovery of the 'W32.Winux' virus today. The virus is said to be the first known cross platform virus as Linux machines can infect Windows binaries and vice versa. The virus propagates by attaching itself to executable files. The Winux virus is said to be primarily a proof-of-concept and is not in the wild on the Internet.
