The new secure email and browsing application runs outside the RIM BlackBerry network, providing a back-up connection in the event of RIM network outages. With the new app, user's private transactions are untraceable and are instead stored securely in the cloud, no private data is compromised if a BlackBerry smartphone is lost, stolen or seized.
