Apple joins in China's persecution of the Dalai Lama
THE GLORIOUS APPLE RELIGION that wants its gizmos in every home that can afford them has joined with China's government in its attempts to wipe the Dalai Lama from the collective consciousness of the Chinese.
Apple China has conducted a ruthless purge of the Apps store for all references to the Tibetan Buddhist religious leader. About six Dalai Lama apps have been purged already and you can't find his message anywhere in Apple China.
We hope Apple knows what it's doing here. The Dalai Lama is pretty popular with Apple's target market of latte drinking California hippies. However most Apple fanboys also back a medieval style dictatorial regime that keeps people locked into a wheel of birth and death of fruity products.
