Automatic Data Processing (ADP) today disclosed that it has suffered a system intrusion that it believes has impacted only one client associated with Workscape, the benefits administration platform company it acquired.

The Roseland, N.J. firm, known primarily for its payroll-processing business used by companies on an outsourcing basis, says it does not believe any payroll systems were impacted by the intrusion. ADP stated it is "investigating and taking measures to address the impact of a system intrusion" which ADP says occurred "on a non-payroll legacy platform that is no longer sold by ADP's benefits administration business."
