Adobe posts security fix for Flash Player
Adobe has posted an update to address vulnerabilities in its Flash Player media platform.
The company said that the update would address flaws in all versions of its online media playing tool, including Flash Player for Android 4.0.
Among the issues addressed in the update were flaws which could be exploited by an attacker to cause a denial of service and vulnerabilities which, if targeted, could allow for remote code execution. Adobe is advising all OS X, Windows and Linux users to update their software in order to obtain the most recent version of Flash Player. For Windows and OS X users the patched version will be 11.5.502.110, while Liunux users should install version 11.2.202.251.
