Adobe Patches 23 Holes In Reader And Acrobat
Adobe Systems has finally patched all reported vulnerabilities in its Reader PDF viewer, making this set this year's record vulnerability patching count.
The company has reportedly fixed all 23 vulnerabilities in its PDF viewer, of which at least one was a critical bug being exploited by web hackers for over a month, tech news site Computer World reports.
According to the report, the Flash maker has released an update for its Reader and Acrobat features, versions 8.2.5 and 9.4 respectively, to patch the bugs. The update has set a record for 2010 by fixing highest number of holes in one go. The record comes close to Adobe’s last year’s patch for 29 vulnerabilities.
