14 Year Old Developer Knocks Angry Birds Off Its Perch On iTunes
A new iOS game has managed to knock Rovio’s Angry Birds from the number one spot on Apple’s iTunes App Store.
Robert Nay, a 14 year old from Utah, launched Bubble Ball under his own company Nay Games on Apple’s iOS platform.
According to ABC News, the free game, which is based on the laws of physics, has been downloaded more than 2 million times in the past two weeks, displacing the much-loved Angry Birds from the number one spot. Nay’s mother, who also did the art work for the game, claims that Robert was encouraged by his friends to come up with an iOS game after they discovered how good he was with computer programming.
