ZIO to port Ages of Empires to Pocket PC

At this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, CA., ZIO Interactive debuted their Pocket PC version of the Microsoft real-time strategy game Ages of Empires, produced by Paul Neurath. "The handheld device category is growing fast, so the time is right to introduce new, feature-rich games for the Pocket PC platform," said ZIO Interactive CEO Peter Kim. Ages of Empires for Pocket PC is expected to ship later this year for a price of $29.95. ZIO has also been working on bringing another Paul Neurath creation to Pocket PC's, Ultima Underworld, which has been in development since mid-2001.
