Ethical Hacking - A New Question For CSR Gurus To Solve
New guidelines are needed with respect to employing corporate ethical hackers and issues related to privacy protection, argues the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Centre for Responsible Business in a recent publication.
In particular, the publication argues that companies when adopting the concept of ethical hacking must also show responsibility when securing confidential data and information about their employees, customers and other stakeholders. In other words, there need to be guarantees that corporations by employing white hat or ethical hackers will act within the confines of the law and promote transparency.
Ethical or White Hat hackers are computer security experts who specialize in penetration testing to ensure that a company's information systems are secure. The National Security Agency offers certifications such as the CNSS 4011 which covers orderly, ethical hacking techniques and team management.
