EFIX reseller list announced

The folks over at EFI-X have released a list of resellers that will be carrying their USB dongle solution. Interestingly, Malaysia is listed as 'under negotiations' (hopefully the negotiations are successful).

If you who haven't already heard, EFI-X promises a USB dongle which would allow a stock standard OS X installation disc to boot and run on every-day Intel machines. That means no more kext hacking or boot loader manipulation - just plug in the USB device and everything will be automagically taken care of - even software updates according to the EFI-X page.

Needless to say, I'm definitely quite eager to test this solution out, while it'll also be interesting to see what Apple does about it (if anything). So far, the other company surfing the fringes of legality is Psystar, makers of white-box OS X machines who have so far had zero resistance from Apple to their unique 'business model'.
