The UK Home Secretary Theresa May has approved the extradition of a 23-year-old computer studies student to the United States to face charges of breaking copyright law.

Despite being a teenager when running, Richard O'Dwyer who has never been to the US before or even used servers located in the US, is being extradited merely because authorities in the States claim that the content featured on his site was made in the US.

O'Dwyer who apparently earned £150,000 from advertisements running on the site over a three-year period, now faces a possible 10 year jail sentence if he chooses to plead not guilty and is then convicted. Meanwhile, NASA/UFO hacker Gary McKinnon, is still fighting extradition to face charges of hacking into US computers in 2002.
