UK hackers create recruitment site for UK hackers

A pair of technology experts based in the UK has created a specialist site which aims to provide a better recruitment service for someone looking beyond regular software development as a career.

Hacker Jobs UK, started and run by developer Jon Gilbraith together with former tech recruitment consultant Steve Buckley, says the site was started because "There is a sincere lack of high quality job boards available for the tech community in the UK. There are plenty of options for job seekers out there but they are either saturated by recruiters or the jobs are incredibly generic and middle of the road".

Targeting individuals and the skill set for development of iOS and Android applications in addition to C++ and UX designers, the destinations for its potential jobs include Edinburg, Huddesfield and London.
