Samsung Galaxy Note already rooted and ready to hack

The Samsung Galaxy Note has been out for just a week, but it’s already fallen victim to the hackers over at XDA-Developers. While there are currently no custom ROMs to flash, a user by the name of Da_G has managed to root the Galaxy Note i717.

While you will need to be familiar with Samsung’s flashing tool Odin3, and there is a chance your warranty may be voided, if you’ve decided rooting is for you, there’s little chance of regretting the decision. This kernel enables custom boot animations, adb root, init.d support, runs a script to auto-root your /system partition, and then you're on your merry way
